Behavior Plan
Classroom Management Plan
Our classrooms will be encouraging a positive learning environment, reflecting our schoolwide Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) plan. Students will have the opportunity to earn Bobcat Bucks, our classroom money, throughout the year to purchase rewards. There will be classroom, as well as, schoolwide rewards.
Another aspect of creating a positive classroom environment is ensuring consistent interventions are in place to reinforce those positive behaviors. The leveled consequences are meant to give students a chance to think about their actions and refocus themselves in a positive manner. The chart below shows some examples of behaviors that will be result in a consequence. We will be following the progression of this chart, however certain situations may warrant the teacher’s discretion.
Level 1 Behaviors
calling out
out of seat
talking back
dishonest
disrespectful tone/attitude
unprepared for class
off task
Consequence - Non verbal or verbal prompt
Level 2 Behaviors
repeated level 1 behaviors
inappropriate language
Consequence - Change seat, small break, private conversation, parent contact
Level 3
Repeated level 1 and level 2 behaviors
Loss of privilege
Consequence - Behavior documented, parent contact, administration/counselor contacted
Level 4

Our plan will be discussed thoroughly with students throughout the first week of school and will be used during the 2023-2024 school year while students are in either
Mrs. Fisher’s or Ms. Stoll’s classrooms.
If behaviors continue, individual behavior plans may be put into place on an as needed basis. If an individual behavior plan is needed, the student’s family will be involved with the creation and implementation.
